Turban Love

Absolute favorite shot of the day!

I don't know if you guys noticed but I was having a really good picture day!

School is starting to heat up... The assignments have begun to pour in... Albeit slowly, but you can definitely feel the feeling of a carefree summer slipping through our fingertips... But I digress. It's time to shape our futures and I have to play Michelangelo... This outfit was an attempt to look professional in the hot weather and I think I did a pretty good job, under the circumstances. The turban is something I threw on for trend busting purposes. I'm officially sold!!! This location in my pictures isn't new, it's the lawn of my backyard. I was eaten ALIVE by the bugs and my neighbor's dogs were oddly interested. But anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed, Leave a comment and let me know!
Love,
Dream.

Class is IN SESSION!

Such a short summer break to me, but in order to move on we have to do things we don't want to do. Like go back to school. We're a week in so far and I'm hoping that it shapes up to me a very successful semester... Grades and fashion wise. But anyways, back to the school outfit. This is something that reminds me of my city adventures, definitely something I'd wear in NYC. The outfit is my very trusty blazer, a striped shirt from Old Navy, Shorts from GAP and my very old scuffed up trusty flats. Alright, hope you all enjoyed! Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thanks!

My Week: The first week of Summer Live at FIT

The first day of class. We learned the classic croqui.

The Victory Theatre.

Dave and Busters at 42nd Street

Fashion Ave!!!

Mickey Ds in Times Square

Ehh!! I'm so sorry!!! I've been meaning to update, but last week I was so busy! Well first off, can we notice the new blog layout! I didn't change much but I had to white wash it. It felt busy, even to me! Hope you guys enjoy! But anyways, as I mentioned in my last post, I'm finally at FIT!!!  I'm taking Fashion Art for Fashion Designers. And I love it. I can tell I WILL be happy in the future doing this. Ah, it's all been so surreal. Unfortunately, I have no pictures except the ones I took from my phone. I didn't take any pictures of my outfits, but I will take pictures of the ones in the future. I feel like I'm overusing exclamation points... But I digress, look at the pretty pictures I tried to take! Enjoy!!

My design for the second day of class. We learned action poses. I wanted to go for a safari in the city type feel.

Our lesson for the third day. We learned faces. I was going for a Megan Fox-ish type of look... I don't think I succeeded , but then again, faces aren't exactly my forte. I think I did well considering the circumstances.

The fourth day. We learned garment details like ruffles and  pleats.  This was my showcase of ruffles.

School's Out! Let's have a toast!

NYC Bound!

As you can see by this set, I'm wishing for an ALL WHITE summer. If you follow me on Twitter or Tumblr, I've actually been saying this for the longest time. All White, all the time.
Woohoo! I survived my junior year of high school! It wasn't easy, let me tell you. There were definitely some moments I had to mutter "High School is just a means to an end" and certainly some "Girl, hold me back!"'s, but I did it! I came home dancing, ready to celebrate. Because I'm a senior now!! Woohoo! One more year! And you think I'd be spending my last summer of true freedom doing something productive, but instead I'm camped up at my house, which isn't right. But believe me, I've got BIG things planned! From FIT summer programs to the hitting the pavement in NYC, I will be more than occupied with life. And I can't wait. Bare with me now, strap yourselves in, and keep all arms and legs inside the seat at all times because we're in for a wild ride...
Hearts Hugs and Lots of Love,
Dream
P.S. Sorry this post was so late. I've been out since May, I just been REALLY REALLY REALLY lazy. And I'm sorry for that. Oh and the set I made DID NOT look like that originally. I don't know what's with it right now. Grr...

Pooh and Corinne Bailey Rae

Blazer- Target, Old Tee, Cargos Pants- Marshalls, Flats (Not shown) Lauren by Ralph Lauren

Sorry, I've been absent. Only 6 more weeks left for school and it's getting down to the wire. Right now, I'm trying to get my summer plans right, decide which colleges to apply to, learning how to drive and still focusing on school. Being a junior is SOOO much stress. Luckily, I have the principles of Taoism, brought to me by "The Tao of Pooh", and the songs of Corinne Bailey Rae to keep me sane.
This photo shoot was actually particularly hard because of the 88 degree weather that day and the fact that my neighbor was actually making fun of me posing during the entire shoot. So there's really not as many photos as I'd like, but I did get some goood shots. Enjoy! And please comment!

Uniform

Old Navy Henley, Lauren by Ralph Lauren Flats, H&M Jersey Skirt

I'm back!!!! This week has been SOOO exhausting. I've been taking the high school graduation exams, which I need to pass in order to earn my diploma. I've been studying everyday and every night after track practice. We finished testing on Thursday and sometime during the week (Don't remember which day, they all seemed to run together) I decided that I reward myself by letting out my legs and wearing a skirt. When it comes to skirts, I have a sort of uniform thing that occurs, with a white shirt and the black skirt. On occasion I switch it up, but then again I wasn't as tired then. Also, this was my first self photoshoot, meaning I had to figure out how to use the self timer and whatnot. I think I did a really good job, considering... But anyway, enjoy!!!!!!!!!! And please comment!!

Mommy and Me!!!

My outfit today. See the effort???

Mom's Juicys and Mine-- We even matched sandals!
So today was rather eventful and it was AMAZING!!! My mom and I had a day out of the house, while my brother and his friends sat in the house playing COD (which I don't understand because the weather was gorgeous, 85 DEGREES!!).  I was feeling a bit different, and decided to put some sort of effort into my look. At first, we ran a few errands, which included grocery shopping. But then, we ventured onto the lower part of the county and went to Chipotle (a restaurant I've never been to). And with the mall just down the street, I had to ask!!!! I didn't buy anything, because I'm so broke I can barely afford to pay attention. In the end, we went window shopping and went home. But anyways, my mommy and me day was amazing!!!!!!

My nails!! Sticking with the New Year's Resolution... Isn't it FAB??
P.S. Did anyone see the moon tonight??? It didn't look any special to me...
