Playlist: Paris Nights, New York Mornings by Corinne Bailey Rae

This song, make me think of Paris in New York. Corinne Bailey Rae almost always make me thinks summer days in my most favorite place in the world. This set took me an incredibly long time to complete because I had no idea how to mix the two cultures. But here it is! Enjoy! Love, Dream

Scene:
Walking out of the NYC subway, the sunset of the city creating an orange, purple hazy backdrop for the skyline. Heading to a Parisian bistro to enjoy this Friday's end of the week dinner. This outfit was trying to capture the perfect Parisian girl without comprising too many of the ideals you learned as a New Yorker. As you  walk past the stores and windows, you turn slowly to catch a peek of yourself. How gorgeous! That bag looks sturdy, not delicate, but the scarf you added was the stroke of genius. It adds delicacy and mirrors the shy demeanor of girl blushing on your shirt. The cardigan adds a bit of covering. However,  the real stars are the cute shoes and barrette. The shoes, ivory colored, are intricate yet simple, just like a Parisian, but funky and smart, like the New Yorker in you. The barrette exudes pretty, but dangerous and unpredictable with the jewel encrusted spider tucked between the delicate looking ribbons, within your half updo. You smile coyly to yourself, happy with your own blend of Parisian and New Yorker.

Independent Romantic-- A Polyvore Set

While working hard at summer work, I also have been working hard at creating an outfit for the quintessential modern woman. This woman I believe is independent, sexy but demure, quirky and happy, girly and classic but always puts her spin on whatever she wears. And as always, she is the epitome of luxury. So enjoy the set I personally picked out for you guys. Oh, and I even picked out a song for you guys (Miss Independent-- Ne-Yo)

SummerTime!

Here, down in Georgia, school let out today and I am shocked that the year went so fast (especially because it seemed to drag on). Well with school out, I took it upon my self to draw a little something for my fans, because I have all this extra time... ( Excuse it... It is cut off and I only spent maybe 40 minutes on it)

This picture I think describes the typical Luxury girl. She's sexy, sophisticated, quirky but fun, and classic but unexpected. She doesn't limit herself. She doesn't follow fashion; it follows her. She is the epitome of unique. So look and enjoy, my little Luxury Addicts...
(Oh and if you can't tell the background is one of the sun and the moon.)

1 Dress, 5 WAYS!!!!

(The Dress)
In this recession, it's not very wise to be spend money on a million different dresses. Why not find one versatile dress and accesorize it to look different everytime? I took up this challenge with a regular dress I bought at Macy's. I pretty much accesorized it with different jackets and belts...

Next, I added a purple cropped bomber jacket. The purple draws the eye up and the cut of the jacket should make an hourglass shape and create a slim waist...

For an edgier look, I put on a black blazer over the dress and tied a white belt to bring the eye to the waist.
For a preppier polished look, I added a blouse to the mix and tied a ribbon to keep it from being plain...
I kept the top buttons unbuttons to make the pretty ruffles peek out and then tied it below the waist.
Last look...
I used my navy military jacket and tied it with the same with white belt, used in the blazer look. The jacket gave the dress a tougher feel and made it more casual...
Looks amazingly adorable, right? One of my favorite looks with the dress.
I also tried the dress out with a glittery belt on the blazer and military jacket... I decided that it would be a little too much to wear casually... But for a night out, it would be so cute...
and . Needless to say, it looked super cute with the miltary jacket because it was a great combination. But it did make the blazer more polished and refined.
Remember everything can look a different way, if you pair it with the right things. Good luck, my pretties!!!

Fall into Autumn

Seasons change, bright yellow, purple, and orange leaves float and drift gracefully in the breeze, and the weather gets colder. Dress for this change in season by layering.
During fall, The thing I like to do the most is hunt for the best hoodies and coats. There's something oddly comforting about having the perfect coat. Coats are essential for looking adorable and keeping warm in the winter. I have officially fallen in love with capes, trench coats and houndstooth patterns. I recommend Modcloth.com for absolutely amazing coats at affordable coats.
Shoes can often make or break a fall outfit because you are mostly covered up. Knee highs boots are really in right now. I find a couple of good ones on Lulus.com
A jacket, such as a blazer can also help with an otherwise boring outfit. It can automatically enhance an mundane outfit. A cardigan can help too. I like to find a long cardigan or blazer, leave it unbuttoned and take a belt or ribbon and tie or buckle it around the waist. Remember to dress warmly and stylishly. Fall into that pile of leaves and enjoy your fall air...
